Rebranding Project

The Michigan Geological Survey (MGS) has a rich history dating back to 1837 when it was established by the state legislature, making it the first independent state agency of its kind in the United States. This collaborative re-branding was designed with their history in mind, while also paying homage to the natural services they provide to Michigan. The colors are inspired by the elements found in nature.
